My experience working with Amber was stellar. She supplied me with a monthly checklist which kept my mind on track, my stomach from being in knots, and if I had any questions–full support only an email away. If I had ANY question, EVER, she was always available to answer it & give me my options, She gave me ideas, options, and worked hands-on to get the venue to look EXACTLY how I wanted/hoped. The day of the wedding, I did nothing. Amber literally organized, worked, decorated, preplanned ALL DAY. She kept my mother from stressing out–that’s next to impossible right there. She literally set everything up beyond perfectly. Better than I could’ve ever imagined.
I never stressed once on my wedding–I was able to fully relax and enjoy my day knowing that EVERYTHING had been thought out and planned accordingly, everything went smoother than I could’ve hoped, the whole day was perfect and full of joy. My family I received more compliments than ever imagined, going as far to say that this was the loveliest wedding they’d ever been to. I remember the whole day! I hear a lot of brides, if not all, say they barely remember the day because they were rather overwhelmed. The whole wedding is in my heart and mind because I did not have to worry about a single thing–Amber made everything GO. Couldn’t be happier with the result.
Before hiring Cheers I was stressed/overwhelmed/worried about what I didn’t know, which pretty darn close to nothing. Never had I been in a wedding, except as a flower girl, 20 years ago. I didn’t know what needed to be done first, middle or last. Worrying I would forget something or run out of time on another had me fighting knots in my stomach. My wonderful mother helped and gave me advice, but even she didn’t know where to start on a few things–times have changed in 30 years. We were confident and able, but lacked direction.
After hiring Cheers all of the above worries vanished. Of course things still got stressful with appointments and planning, that’s going to happen, but the difference was direction. We gained direction, knowledge of trends and traditions, and advice on how we could make them our own. Amber made planning in the final months leading up to the wedding extremely easy and stress free. I’m sure a lot of brides, like myself, deal with life issues outside of wedding planning (work, family, etc.) that can cause a lot of added stress-knowing that the little (or large) details of the wedding are being taken care of took a big weight off of my shoulders. The day of the wedding went so smoothly! Even though it sped by, I (and my groom) were actually able to enjoy the day and spend time with our guests. We had no bad memories and no moments of panic, only pure happiness, and that is how everyones’ wedding day should be. I will also mention that Amber does a great job of taking ideas of what you most want for your wedding, and organizing/centralizing them so they make sense-which was awesome for scatter-brains like me.
I initially thought that I could handle all the details of my wedding by myself, but I don’t know how well that would have gone! Luckily, I had taken care of most of the larger items for the wedding early on (booking vendors, picking out a color scheme, and so on), however, all the small details that go into a wedding require a lot of work that I don’t know I could have handled on my own. I know for certain that I would have felt extremely overwhelmed in the months leading up to the big day, and the wedding day itself, had I not used Cheers Weddings.
After hiring Amber, I was ensured that the planning leading up to the wedding, and the wedding itself, would be stress free for me, my groom, and our families. This was definitely the case; Amber was always available when I emailed her with last minute questions, and had a plethora of wedding knowledge, as well as reliable vendors in the area to use. Amber and her assistants were so helpful and kind on the day of our wedding-the venue was set up beaufitfully, and the ceremony and reception flowed perfectly. If there was any issue at all, Amber checked with me first, but kept the stress level low and the mood positive. We were so happy with the end result, we would do it all over again for sure!

Nobody tells you how much work you have ahead of you once you’re engaged (and we even had a long engagement!) We went through that honeymoon phase, you know… soaking in the fact that this is really happening! And then the real panic set in. We had our date and our venue and our food picked out, and for the most part everything was coming into place. But how on earth were we going to pull this off? We certainly didn’t want to have to set up for our own wedding (although my husband begged to differ), and I didn’t want to have to rely on my friends and family to do the dirty work. This day was as much for them as it was for us.

Amber was absolutely incredible to work with. She really did have a solution for everything. When my husband Jack wanted to get married under a tree that had weathered a few storms, Amber decorated it with glass globes filled with white dahlias to spruce things up a bit. When our guest count had exceeded anything we could have imagined, Amber coordinated additional rentals. When we didn’t have linens at the last minute, Amber handled that too! She even tried to get our nervous little flower girl down the aisle without too much of a fuss. In the end, we absolutely could not have done it without her. Everything turned out absolutely perfectly in my eyes, and if it didn’t, I surely didn’t know about it!
One piece of advice from this bride to all you future brides-to-be: Don’t try to go in alone. If it’s not in the budget, cut out those party favors or even the DJ… because after all is said and done, no one will even remember those monogramed bubbles or the fact that you had an iPod act as your DJ. But you will remember the time you spent with your loved ones on the most significant day in your life thus far. And you will remember those nervous butterfly feelings you got because you saw your partner at the end of that aisle, not that nauseous feeling you get when something goes awry.

“Having the help of Amber and ‘Cheers’ made our wedding day so much easier to relax and enjoy”
The LAST thing I wanted was to be a bride with a clipboard on my wedding day. The second-to-last-thing I wanted was to be a bride who asked a friend or a family member to pack around a clipboard for her. Hence, Cheers Weddings. Austin and I elected to get married at a beautiful, family-owned property. The upsides were countless, and included both privacy and the freedom to dance as late into the evening as we wished. The only major downside was that the property came without a staff to help with set up, tear down, clean up, etc. Our families were certainly willing to pitch in, as were our friends, but what we really wanted most was for all of them to enjoy our day with us — and without worrying about details like when and whether the flowers were set out on the tables or if the vendors were paid. Amber and Cheers Wedding were invaluable in helping us to pull this off. ‘Cheers’ arrived at 10:30 am the day of our 5 pm wedding, and took care of nearly everything. Linens were pressed and put on tables. Chairs were set up for the ceremony and later moved for dinner. The dessert, appetizer, and sign in tables were set up and lovely. Guests enjoyed our pre-ceremony cocktail hour and were seated for the service precisely on time. The processional, which included 13 children, went flawlessly. Vendors were all greeted at the door and promptly paid. Best of all, at the end of the night, linens were packed and bagged, extra food was packaged and ready to go — and all of this took place without the assistance of our guests. Having the help of Amber and ‘Cheers’ made our wedding day so much easier to relax and enjoy, and having worked with them, I feel like I was able to enjoy the best of both worlds — I had a wonderful time planning our wedding, and an even better time feeling like a guest at my own event. I can’t say enough about their assistance, how easy they are to work with, and the benefits to the bride in particular. Three cheers for ‘Cheers!

She has so many great ideas for decorating and where to find ANYTHING you need. She even made my bouquet!!! Before I found Amber I was so worried about stressing out on so many details. She was there to answer my questions and put me as ease. She listened to what I wanted and helped me figure out how to get what I needed within my budget. She worked so hard the day of the event. She was very calming. I had to just let her make it happen, which is hard for me to do. Working with Amber on my daughter’s wedding was a blessing. I didn’t have to think about anything the day of the wedding because you had everything under control. I just got to savor every moment of the day. She came out the day before and set up the reception. That was a huge help for me so I could do other things that day for the rehearsal dinner. Also having her take care of all the hard work of cleaning up after the wedding was a God sent. Before I hired Cheers Wedding & Event Planning I was seriously thinking of doing the whole wedding myself but I was getting a little overwhelmed thinking about the day of the wedding and how I really didn’t want to run the whole show. So I got on-line and kept reading more stories of brides and mother of the brides who had hired a wedding planner the day of the wedding and how they said that was the best thing they could of possibly done and I totally agree. Working with Amber allowed me a peace in what could have otherwise been a chaotic time. My daughter had the wedding of her dreams and a sane mother as well. During the planning process, she always answered my many questions right away alleviating any worry that would start up on my part. She took time to get to know our vision, so we always felt we had a voice, but that now we had a helpmate, someone that cared about what we wanted and knew how to get it all done. Amber also thought of so many details that hadn’t even crossed our minds, I felt like she wasn’t just a luxury but a necessity! During the rehearsal, Amber took over in such a graceful way, leading the bridal party in an effortless and fun practice session. And during the day of the wedding, I felt like I won the lottery, knowing Amber and her assistant were at the venue, setting up and preparing everything to our liking and I could concentrate on helping my daughter get ready and then get ready myself. When we arrived at the venue, I was so happy as everything was exactly as we had envisioned and she had even eliminated some potential problems by rearranging some things and problem solving with some of the vendors. She was always one step ahead of everything, even during the reception. During the busyness of the reception, she and her assistant were very in tune with the guests comfort and the schedule we had set. In all honestly, the service that Amber provided us, made her the most valuable person we hired for our daughters wedding. If I had it to do over again, I would have hired her sooner!
