Invitations:

Oh, the things that you can (and should) say! If there’s a moment in your life to customize, this is it! Your invitations should reflect you and your wedding event.  Word your wedding invitations in whatever way you want as long as you provide certain essential information Keep in mind that invitations serve several purposes:

* Invite others and provide details such as date and time.

* Set the tone for the event: casual, formal, theme, etc.

* In some cases, invitations serve to identify hosts of event

* Collect RSVPs.

Wording:

There are two ways to go on invitation wording: formal or casual. Having a small wedding only means fewer people. It doesn’t mean that you need to give up on tradition or that you have to throw a casual event.

For some inspiration on formal or traditional invitation wording, check out Emily Post’s page on formal invitations. http://emilypost.com/advice/samples-of-formal-wedding-invitation-wording/.  You can read suggestions for informal wording here. http://emilypost.com/advice/informal-wedding-invitation-wording/

Elopements or Pop-Up Wording:

If you’re eloping or hosting a pop-up wedding, it’s up to you if you’d like to mention that on your
